The first-ever married couple to take part in the Atlantic challenge said: “This will be the hardest mental and physical challenge of our lives, and we are so grateful to have such amazing local support. There will be many days that we will want to quit the blisters, seasickness, physical exhaustion and sleep deprivation, but our supporters and raising money for our wonderful charities will keep us going.”
Fargo Systems director Kevin Terrill says: “Charlie and Adam personify teamwork and perseverance, whether that’s in their day-to-day roles at the NHS or taking part in one of the world’s most enduring rowing challenges.
“Our company strapline, ‘Together, further’ reinforces our commitment to collaborative working, and we are honoured to play a small part in helping the Emergensea Duo achieve such inspirational goals. We wish them good fortune and every success.”
